TFSCS is an independent charter school classroom based offering a free quality publicly funded education to all TFSCS students for Transitional Kindergarten through Eighth grades. TFSCS has a 180 day school year calendar. The school’s mission is to teach each and every TFSCS student individually and personally to achieve their personal best and keep pace with our rigorous curriculum.
Today’s Fresh Start is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and our API Test Scores are significantly higher than the California average.
Using the implementation of a rigorous academic program, TFSCS anticipates graduating college bound students. All students are taught they are going to finish college from Transitional Kindergarten through Eighth grades. TFSCS is a College Bound School and focuses on putting every student on a path toward college completion and “personal best.”
TFSCS employs state of the art education best practices using technology and methods of teaching reading comprehension, science, math, and critical thinking. TFSCS teaches each student their personal need for responsibility to learn. They are taught self-discipline, intrinsic self-worth, personal responsibility, and how to get along with others through verbal communication exchange.
Today’s Fresh Start Charter School incorporates sports and performing arts into the program. TFSCS has a complete gym for basketball and other sports and a complete auditorium for performing arts.
